Auto detailing goes beyond a wash: a full detail typically includes clay bar decontamination, machine polishing to remove swirl marks, a sealant or wax, and a deep interior clean with shampooed carpets and conditioned leather. Detail shops price by vehicle size and condition, and a full interior and exterior detail takes most of a day. Ceramic coatings are a hardened liquid layer applied after paint correction that lasts years rather than weeks and makes washing easier; paint protection film (PPF, or clear bra) is a self-healing urethane wrap that stops rock chips on the hood, bumper and mirrors. Window tint shops apply dyed, carbon or ceramic film to cut heat and glare, subject to each state's visible light transmission limits.

Scott has been doing my full size pick up trucks sense 1997. Always a fantastic job. I have a Excursion which is a huge truck, takes a full day to top level interior and exterior detail. For what they have to do I am very happy with the price, though not cheap. Have never went any where else.

I took my wife's car by for a consult. It had what appeared to be paint on the side, but it was really difficult to get off. Wasn't sure what to expect when I dropped it off. Man the job they did was beyond my expectations. I can't tell you how pleased my wife and I are with the outcome. This was our first time using them but it won't be our last. You gotta come check them Out!!!!

Not only did they do a great job on my car, they also gave me blue book values on my car, advised where to post it for sale & helped me get the best price I could for it. These are people who care for sure! I’ll be going back to them again with the next car.

I waited a few weeks to give a review because I wanted to see how well my ceramic coating held up in the rain, and all I can say is, WOW! I highly recommend getting your car detailed by Scott’s Finishing Touch, not only to my friends and family, but to everyone. Some individuals may think that a ceramic coating is not worth the money, but based on my calculations, I will break-even within a year. Since I purchased the “9 year” ceramic coating package, it will be well worth the investment, and will probably end up saving thousands of dollars. How did I come up with that figure of breaking even? I haven’t had to wash my car since I got my car detailed over 6 weeks ago. So, each time I don’t wash my car, it saves me money. Why would I not have to get my car washed? Because every time it rains or looks dirty, I just wipe it off with a microfiber towel and it looks like it did when I first picked it up from Scott. The ceramic coating prevents water and dirt from not sticking to the car, so a quick wipe is all it takes. Lastly, the main reason why I decided to get my car detailed by Scott was because my car had all kinds of swirl marks in the paint. I purchased my car used a few

I've taken two vehicles to Scott's F.T. and I've always been happy with the results. Wash, clay bar and wax for an F-150. And more recently my Jaguar XE they did a fantastic job washing exterior and cleaning the interior. I always take good care of my vehicles. So there is never much dirt or grime. But the muddy salty mess on the door rails and floors is impossible to avoid in the Midwest. Check out my photos for the results!
